What is Concrete / Cement Blanket?

Scientifically named Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mats (GCCMs), it is a flexible building material integrating a 3D fiber framework and impermeable concrete powder. Hardened via hydration, it forms a 5-15 mm thick concrete layer with functions of water proofing, fire proofing, seepage control, crack resistance and corrosion resistance, applicable to slope reinforcement, agricultural irrigation, emergency rescue, interior decoration and other projects.

GCCMs VS Traditional Concrete Construction

Topic GCCMs Traditional Concrete
Construction efficiency Material sets and is ready for use quickly. Formwork, vibration and curing extend the cycle.
Material utilization Nearly 100% with almost zero waste. Roughly 85–90% utilization; 10–15% loss.
Water consumption Reduced by more than 70%. High water demand.
Labor cost Manual installation can reduce cost by 30–50%. Requires equipment and larger crews.
Environment Zero emissions and zero pollution on site. Dust, wastewater and noise impacts.
